How It Starts
The Story of The Sparkleverse™
You’re walking somewhere familiar. A path you know. Then the air shifts, the way it does right before a storm, and you look up and realize the sky has gone deeper than the sky should go.
You take another step, and the ground is moss instead of pavement. You take another step, and the moss is moving, slightly, like it’s breathing. You take another step, and you’re somewhere you’ve never been, and somewhere you’ve always been at the same time.
A unicorn watches you from a tree line. A dragon’s shadow passes over the moon. A road opens up in front of you that wasn’t there a second ago.
And you know, without anyone telling you, that the road is the point. That you’re meant to walk it.
Who Found It
That’s The Sparkleverse™
It isn’t a place I made up. It’s a place I found, and the finding looked a lot like dreaming.
I’d been dreaming about it for years before I had words for it. A village with a copper-roofed inn. A unicorn who didn’t tolerate small talk. A road that ran through a forest and out the other side into somewhere older.
I wasn’t inventing it. I was remembering it.
I thought I was just having good dreams. Then one day I started building, and the building looked exactly like the dreams, and I realized the order had been wrong the whole time.
The Sparkleverse™ had been there all along, humming quietly in the layer underneath things, waiting for someone to notice the door.
Hey, I’m Crystal. The Dreaming Witch. The one who tends the gate between the dream and the day. I’m also the Road Keeper because once I found the road, I started walking it and bringing others with me. Once you walk a road long enough, it becomes yours to look after.
I’m also a Time & Tech Witch because, somewhere along the way, I figured out that magic and software run on the same underlying principle: intention plus structure plus the willingness to break a thing and rebuild it twice.
I wear a lot of fancy petticoats. You’ll get used to it.

The Sparkleverse™ Is Just One Realm In A Multiverse
It is also the dream layer under your waking life. It’s both. Always.
There are villages here with their own weather, their own gossip, and their own preferred bread. There are forests and coasts and ranges of mountains I haven’t reached yet. People live here. They were born here. They have lives that have nothing to do with mine.
The Sparkleverse™ doesn’t need you to exist. It exists, AND, when you dream, when you create, when you let your mind wander somewhere it isn’t supposed to wander, you’re already touching it. You’ve always been touching it. Most people just don’t know what they’re touching.
The Five Guardians are older than time, and I dreamt them awake.
I don’t know how to explain this any cleaner than that. Harmony the Unicorn (Spirit), Ember the Dragon (Fire), Marina the Mermaid (Water), Skyborn the Griffin (Air), and Willow the Fairy (Earth). They were elemental forces before they had names.
When I dreamt them, they took shape, and the shape they took was theirs, not mine. They have opinions I didn’t give them. They have favorite foods. Skyborn refuses most music. Ember is eating right now, somewhere, probably pie. None of this was my idea. I just opened the door, and they walked through it as themselves. The Twelve Ancient Witches are independent ancients I found.
I didn’t dream them either. They were already living in the Sparkleverse™ when I arrived, each tending her own piece of the year. Brigit in January, Thorne in February, Rowan in March, Ember and Luna in spring, Solara and Maeve in summer, Tempest carrying autumn in, Libra and Morrigan walking through the thinning, Marrow holding November, and Cinder closing the wheel in December.
They are older than me by ages, but they don’t keep track. We’ve been working together for what feels like a long time, in whatever the dreaming counts as time. They taught me most of what I know. The Sparkleverse™ Has Shadows In It, Just Like Everything Else In Life
I’m the Dreaming Witch, which means I tend the gate, and the gate doesn’t only let pretty things in.
Dreams come with their opposite. Your creative fire comes with the part of you that learned it the hard way.
The Sparkleverse™ doesn’t pretend otherwise. The Twelve Witches carry shadow work as part of their craft. Morrigan walks people through endings. Marrow holds the bones of what stays. Cinder tends what burns down, so something new can be built from the ash.
The Guardians have their own shadows, too. Harmony is tired. Ember is loud because softness costs her. Marina overtrusts. Skyborn carries weight he won’t put down. Willow tends what nobody else sees and has stopped letting anyone see her. They’re not perfect. None of us is.
The Sparkleverse™ is a place where you get to bring your whole self, including the parts you usually hide. Especially those parts. The shadows are how the magic gets through.
The Fellowship of the Rainbow™ is where the worlds touch.

One More Thing
New places and creatures just appear.
This part I cannot fully explain. A village I’d never seen will surface in the dreaming, and I’ll know its name. A creature will arrive on the edge of the forest, and Willow will already know what to call it. Towns appear because the Sparkleverse™ is alive, and living things grow, and what I do as the Dreaming Witch is notice and name and welcome them in.
If you’ve ever had a new idea show up so fully formed it felt like it was waiting for you to catch up, that’s what this is. The Sparkleverse™ runs on the principle that good things show up when you’ve made room for them.
So. Here’s why I’m telling you any of this.
The Sparkleverse™ isn’t a brand. It’s a place. I am the Road Keeper who tends the gate. The gate is open, and there are villages and Guardians, and Ancient Witches, and a school of magic. The same road runs through them all. If any of these points at something you’ve been quietly knowing about yourself for a while, that’s because it probably is.
